Afternoon Tea is a well-known British tradition that was popularised in the 1800s. Originally enjoyed by women of nobility and the upper classes, who would change into gloves, hats and gowns and enjoy their tea in a special drawing room in the afternoon.
At Floors Castle, our Afternoon Tea is specially prepared for you by Chris Weston, Head Chef to the Duke of Roxburghe and his family.
Your delicious afternoon tea will include our delicate sandwiches, freshly prepared mini scones, Castle made cakes and petit fours.
Vegan and Vegetarian options are also available.

We visited for Afternoon Tea for two. Usually, I just eat the savoury sandwiches & leave the sweet cakes but I finished everything on the plate as it was freshly made & delicious. The best afternoon tea I have had by far. The staff were very friendly & efficient.
