What’s On at Floors Castle in 2025

2025 is shaping up to be a great year at Floors Castle, and we are hosting a series of exciting events throughout the season to come.

Throughout the year we run a diverse series of events, aiming is to provide something for everyone. This season we are bringing live music to Floors Castle, along with gardens events, outdoor theatre, behind the scenes tours, fitness events and family fun for all ages!

We are continually enhancing our attraction to offer you and your family the best day out in Scotland! Visit the beautiful Castle with our friendly guides on hand to point out our unique collection, and our fascinating history, our stunning gardens and Queen Victoria’s tea house, and explore the outdoors with wonderful woodland and riverside walks.

August’s main attractions are the Grapes and Peaches, Kitchen Garden, Agapanthus, Dahlias and the Hot Border.

Friday 22nd of August Beluga Lagoon Live at Floors Castle

Join Beluga Lagoon for their biggest headline show so far! Bringing a blend of Celtic, folk and rock to the stage at the magnificent Floors Castle.

Much Ado About Nothing – Presented by the HandleBards

Sunday 31st of August Much Ado About Nothing – Presented by the HandleBards

Early bird tickets on sale now, offer ends soon. Join the HandleBards for a bicycle-powered production of Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ like you’ve never seen before. In usual HandleBards style, expect riotous amounts of energy, a fair old whack of chaos, and a great deal of laughter.

September’s main attractions are the Dahlia beds, the Hot Border and the changing colours of the Grasses in the Herbaceous Borders

Tuesday the 4th of November A Guide to Pruning

This class will be a combination of theory and practical demonstrations. Simon will demonstrate how climbing plants and wall shrubs such as Wisteria, Clematis and Hydrangea petiolaris are cared for and will demonstrate how the rambling and climbing Roses here at Floors are pruned and maintained to achieve the swag effect on chains. We will also show you how we care for our Peaches, Vines and espaliered Plum Trees as well as the different pruning and training techniques utilised for our Apple Trees in the Millennium Parterre.

Get creative and create a beautiful, seasonal & sustainable Christmas Wreath to decorate your home during the festive season.
