What’s On at Floors Castle in 2025

2025 is shaping up to be a great year at Floors Castle, and we are hosting a series of exciting events throughout the season to come.

Throughout the year we run a diverse series of events, aiming is to provide something for everyone. This season we are bringing live music to Floors Castle, along with gardens events, outdoor theatre, behind the scenes tours, fitness events and family fun for all ages!

We are continually enhancing our attraction to offer you and your family the best day out in Scotland! Visit the beautiful Castle with our friendly guides on hand to point out our unique collection, and our fascinating history, our stunning gardens and Queen Victoria’s tea house, and explore the outdoors with wonderful woodland and riverside walks.

A Guide to Pruning
This class will be a combination of theory and practical demonstrations. Simon will demonstrate how climbing plants and wall shrubs such as Wisteria, Clematis and Hydrangea petiolaris are cared for and will demonstrate how the rambling and climbing Roses here at Floors are pruned and maintained to achieve the swag effect on chains. We will also show you how we care for our Peaches, Vines and espaliered Plum Trees as well as the different pruning and training techniques utilised for our Apple Trees in the Millennium Parterre.
