Mother’s Day FREE Weekend

Need some fresh air? A day out to reconnect with nature? Some much-needed family time? A change of scenery to walk the dogs?  Treat the mother figure in your life, whether that’s your Mother, Father, Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie, Cousin,  friend or just someone who’s really been there for you to a day out at Floors Castle, we even celebrate all the dog mums out there (we are dog friendly)!  

From 10.30am – 4pm EVERYONE GOES FREE to Floors Walled Garden, Grounds & Playpark* 

🌟Bring the bikes and enjoy our cycle trail overlooking the River Tweed or go wildlife spotting through the woodland walk around the Estate, grab a coffee or warming soup from the Courtyard Café and walk alongside the banks of the stunning River Tweed, or enjoy a delicious seasonal lunch at the Terrace Café, which will be serving a new Spring menu!  The Apple Shed Giftshop & Pantry will also be open which has a beautiful selection of fabulous children’s books, homeware, and Floors Castle Kitchen Produce, including our famous luxury freezer meals.

Floors Castle itself is closed throughout the winter and will reopen its doors again on the 12th of April 2025.  ALL ACCESS to the site is via the Golden Gates entrance at the top of Roxburgh Street, Kelso, post code TD5 7RL. Allowing  easy access to pedestrian and cyclists.  All parking will be in the Woodlands Carpark (please follow the signs)

🧺 HAMPERS – Choose from our  ready-made Hampers or if you’re looking to create your own bespoke hamper, look no further than our instore, our “build your own hamper service” allows you to create your own hamper to your exact requirements and budget (instore only).  Edible gifts are always a winner with sweet treats, savoury nibbles and preserves to choose from. The Castle Kitchen makes a fantastic selection of jam, chutney and marmalade along with biscuits and other tasty delights, many of which are favourites of the Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe.  

🎁 GIFT VOUCHERS – Gift vouchers are ideal if you want to treat a friend or loved one – the perfect solution for a gift. Vouchers can be redeemed for Castle entry tickets, Gardens, Courtyard Café or Terrace Café and both the Apple Shed Giftshop & Pantry and Castle Giftshop.  

🏰 ANNUAL PASS – £30. Our 12-month pass holds tremendous value and allows the card holder access into Floors Castle and its Grounds during the main season and unlimited access to the Walled Gardens year-round. Annual Pass holders also qualify for a year-round 10% discount on all food in the Terrace Café and 10% off Floors Food products in the Apple Shed Deli, which includes our famous luxury freezer meals. In our open season you will also receive a 10% discount on your food in the Courtyard Café and 10% discount on Floors Food in the Castle Giftshop. Pass Holders receive early booking priority for some events hosted at Floors Castle and receive our newsletter, so will be the first to know what’s on in the year to come. (under 16s go free) 

🌳 SEASONAL GROUNDS PASS – £10.  The Seasonal Grounds Pass is valid when our Estate is open to the public from the 12th of April – 30th of September 2025. The pass includes UNLIMITED access to our Grounds only which include the woodland & riverside walks and cycle trail. Enjoy a stroll with the dog, or a family picnic on the expansive Castle lawns- the perfect spot for views across the surrounding Scottish Borders countryside. (under 16s go free)
