Propagation Workshops

Come and learn about the wonderful world of propagation with our Head Gardener and Glasshouse Specialist Simon McManus in the charming setting of the Queens House. In this two-hour workshop, Simon will demonstrate how to sow seeds, take cuttings from indoor and outdoor plants and the sometimes tricky art of layering and dividing. This is a fantastic opportunity to benefit from Simon’s vast experience gained over his 17 years at Floors Castle Gardens. 

This unique workshop is open to everyone and will be followed with a delicious choice of Homemade Soup, Sandwiches and Quiche if you attend the morning session for lunch or an Afternoon Tea if you attend the afternoon session, both served in the Terrace café after your Workshop. Also included in the ticket price is entrance to the Gardens and Grounds which you can wander and enjoy at your leisure after your workshop.
